Counter Strike Source, is a team-based objective based shooter. The ultimate goal is to score more rounds than the opposing team, you can do this by ether eliminating all opponents, or fulfil the objectives of the map. Some objectives are defusing the bomb, planting the bomb and preventing the other team from defusing, rescuing all hostages or preventing all hostages from being rescued, if you are eliminated during a round you only respawn once the next round begins. Weapon are bought with money that you earn from achieving objectives, winning the round or eliminating players, you also lose money from being eliminated or losing the round. Games are played over various custom and official maps with a variety of weapons and explosives. Teams are divided into two with player's ether on the terrorist or counter-terrorist and each team has 4 models to choose from all with equal abilities.
